A Tibetan woman prepares for the day in McLeodGanj, Kangra District.
For those who don't know, the Dalai Lama has his main temple in this town.

A monkish looking old man. I don't know if the women behind him were with him, or just two other women who happened to be walking alongside him.
McLeodGanj, Kangra District.

A man sits in the winter sun and reads. I was at the Norbulingka Institute in
Dharamshala, India. I had stopped by for some chai, and was watching him sitting there in the morning sun, reading. He was at peace.

The thangka maker.
A thangka is an intricate Buddhist religious painting. It can take up to a year - sometimes more - to make a thangka. I bought one from China.
